Children derive great joy and satisfaction through singing. They quickly learn that music expresses their feelings and ideas, and singing is one of the first experiences children have as creative and self-expressive beings.

Sefton Schools Music Service Interactive has an ever increasing library of vocal and action song resources helping children to understand different styles, techniques and repertoires. Nursery rhymes for Foundation and Key Stage 1 through to rapping for Key Stage 3. Action songs help to reinforce aspects of rhythm, movement and imagination through attractive tunes and lyrics, allowing children to bring out the expression in the songs, all perfect in whole class situations.
