Solfa
Helping pupils to recognise pitch is paramount to the teaching of music. Traditionally, Solfa is taught in a series of exercises of gradually increasing difficulty. Music Interactive contains a unique Solfa presentation tool that enables you to present Solfa activities with the help of an interactive whiteboard.
Delivering this type of activity traditionally involves a great deal of skill. We are currently using the Solfa interactive whiteboard tool to create fully formed resources that can be used by specialist teachers but also by non-specialist music teachers making the learning of these important musical skills much more accessible.
Everyone loves using Sefton Schools Music Interactive - but don’t take our word for it, why not read what teachers, pupils and Music have to say.
Access to these resources is normally by annual subscription to the Music . However, as part of our ongoing program of support for music education in Sefton are making this invaluable resource available to you until 31st March 2010 absolutely FREE of charge.
