Flashcards
We’ve all used flashcards as learning aids. They provide question and answer formats to subjects and are widely used as a learning drill to aid a pupil’s memory by way of repetition.
The problem with rhythm flashcards in particular, is that they require a lot of a teacher’s input, particularly holding them up in time with the music, keeping them in the right order, and avoiding dropping them on the floor.
The rhythm flashcard activities on Music Interactive can be run from an interactive whiteboard, ensuring the teacher is freed up to spend time helping and assessing pupils rather than holding and manipulating a set of cards.
Everyone loves using Sefton Schools Music Interactive - but don’t take our word for it, why not read what teachers, pupils and Music have to say.
Access to these resources is normally by annual subscription to the Music . However, as part of our ongoing program of support for music education in Sefton are making this invaluable resource available to you until 31st March 2010 absolutely FREE of charge.
