Go Bananas

Fairtrade logoWe're supporting Fairtrade Fortnight (23 Feb-8 Mar) - this year The Fairtrade Foundation are planning to set a new world record for people eating Fairtrade bananas!

So to get your pupils going bananas, this week's featured lesson includes:

  • Banana Rap - a fun rhythmic chant to be performed with actions, highlighting high, medium and low-pitched voices
  • Music from Caribbean banana-producing countries
  • Madinda music - a log xylophone made of 12 keys across two banana stems
